The resumes will be sent through the resume-format, for the Scientific Committee revision, which will be available for download at the end of the site. The resume will be setn to the official session email urologia2013@infomed.sld.cu
We suggest that the instructions shown below be read carefully:
Electronic Poster
- All the content of the electronic poster must be included in 3 PowerPoint slides, which will show according to the author: backgrounds, images, charts and text. The author should bear in mind that the slides will be shown as they are in the computer, on full screen (presentation), font size, pictures and chart contents. In order to make the presentations more uniform, the format, background and fonts will be available to download on the Congress website.
- Do not include videos, animations, or dynamic transitions in the slides. Moving images can be included.
- The maximum length of time for each poster will be 5 minutes. The author will adjust the exhibition time to no longer than 3 minutes. The remaining 2 minutes will be mandatory for discussion. Moderators will let the author know when 3 minutes have passed if the exhibition has not finished yet, after 5 minutes the exhibition will finish without opportunity for questions. The same way the discussion will be interrupted after 5 minutes from the beginning of the exhibition to move on to the next poster.
Free Topics
- The maximum presentation time will be 10 minutes. The author will have to adjust the presentation time to 7 minutes. The remaining 3 minutes will be mandatory for discussion. Moderators will let the author know when 7 minutes have passed if the presentation has not finished yet, after 10 minutes the presentation will finish without opportunity for questions in order to move on to the next exposition.
- The same way the discussion will be interrupted after 10 minutes from the beginning of the presentation to move on to the next exposition.
- The spoken expositions will be presented in PowerPoint slides. The maximum number of slides is 7. The format, background and fonts will be available to download on the Congress website.
Important
From the first day of the event until 24 hours before the presentation, the digital versions of the spoken presentations and electronic posters will be delivered to the Congress Secretariat in order to prepare them in the corresponding computers. The exposition of the presentations delivered after the given date will not be guaranteed.
Video
The videos will be carried in a pen drive, CD or DVD. The duration will not exceed 10 minutes. Accepted formats will be .mpeg(1, 2 y 4), .mp4 and .VOB.
Clinical cases
Only unique cases will be selected, exclusive because of the complexity in the treatment or for presenting a breakthrough in therapy or diagnosis techniques. The authors will have 5 minutes for their presentations. There will be groups of 4 to 5 cases of similar subjects, at the end of which there will be a discussion of 5 minutes.
