In this workshop where patients and relatives will attend besides the specialists on the different branches working in the diagnosis and comprehensive care of hemophilia and other coagulation disorders, there will be sessions, symposia and oral presentations on very diverse topics among which we can mention:

–     National Hemophilia Program in Cuba.

–     50 years of the World Federation of Hemophilia and national organizations.

–     Advances in the psicosocial management of patients with hemophilia:  quality of life.

–     Orthopedic disturbances in hemophilia.

–     Dental management of patients with diseases related to coagulation disorders.

–     Dental treatment in the Cuban Hemophilia center.

–     Experience in the genetic advise in hemophilia.

–     National Registry of congenital coagulopathies in Cuba.

–     von Willebrand disease.

–     Preparation for surgery of anticoagulated patient.

–     New anticoagulant agents.

–     Unfrequent coagulation disorders.

–     Thrombosis associated to different hematological entities.

–     Pregnancy and thrombosis;   cancer and thrombosis.

–     Thrombocytopenias.

–     Laboratory diagnosis in thrombophilias.

The speakers will be highly qualified specialists from Cuba and foreign countries and fruitful exchange is to take place among all participants.

There will also be papers exhibited in posters.
