Organization of the course

•    The Course is structured in a theoretical section (first week, 7 to 11 August) and a practical section (second bandera-espanaweek of the course, August 14 to 18).
•    In the theoretical section, general lectures, round tables and symposia have been scheduled.
•    In the practical section, participants will gather in any of five groups according to their interests: clinical care, entomology and vector control, virology/immunology, epidemiology and community participation.
•    Posters session: Participants will have the opportunity to show their results in a poster session during the first week. Poster characteristics: 94cm wide X 140cm high (vertical position). •    On side sessions: several meetings and courses will be organized in the framework of the course: meeting of the Caribbean network for VBD, meeting of the consortium of Zikaplan project, meeting of clinical work of Zikalliance project (both 12 and 13 August) and the course Social Determinants and Inequities in VBD organized by Montreal and Mc Gill Universities and IPK in the second week of the course).
