During the event, delegates will have the opportunity of attending different modalities of presentations such as: round tables, symposia, special lectures, oral presentations, poster presentations, and dynamic presentations (videos and electronic signs), as well as master lectures which will be given by international renown personalities.

Modalities of the scientific program

Master Lectures: 30 minutes
Round tables: 90 minutes
Symposia: 120 minutes
Free topics: 10 minutes

Free oral topics
They will be submitted in thematic sessions. Lecturers will have five minutes for their presentation and other five minutes for questions and answers.

Poster presentations
There will be a designated area for poster presentations. The size of these posters must be 0.82 cm (width) and 120 cm (length). Day and hour for the presentations of each paper will be included in the Academic Program. The author will be present at the appointed time to answer possible questions.

Electronic signs
Theses presentations will be meet the requirements of the audiovisual aids.

Videos
They will last up to 20 minutes. Additionally, presenters will have 5 minutes for questions and answers. The presentation must be submitted in DVD or VCD format.

Interested people will be able to request their modality of presentation (oral, poster or video). However, the Academic Committee reserves the right to determine the modality and inform the author.

The submission date of abstracts for international participants: Up to December 15th, 2015. The response for your acceptance will be after the submission (in the space of 30 days)

Norms for the submission of abstarcts

12-point Arial Font, single-space between lines in 8,5 x 11 sheet. MS Word format, version 6.0 or higher. No more than 250 words.

The following information must be included:

  •    Title (centered in capital letter)
  •   Specify the Number (From 1 to 26) of the thematic Event for submitting your proposal
  •  Main author´s full name, zip code and e-mail.
  • Coauthors´ full name
  • Name of the Institution, province and country
  •  Structure of the abstract: introduction, objectives, methods, results and conclusions.
  •  Keywords: up to 6 words

Full Paper Features for the scientific publication of the event

After being reviewed and approved by the Scientific Committee for the presentation in the event, each author will be requested for their corresponding full paper, as well as the additional materials used in the presentation in order to be included in the CD containing the Proceedings of the Event. This document must have up to 20 pages in the same format of the abstract, and it must be made following the Norms of publication of the American Psychological Association (APA).

The deadline for Full Papers submission is: February 15th, 2016.

Pre-Congress Courses will be also run (from May 9th to 10th, 2016) by experienced professionals, local and abroad, with a 4 or 8-hour duration, for 25.00 CUC.

 Working languages

Spanish, English and French.

There will be simultaneous interpreting service in the opening and closing sessions of the Convention, as well as in other ones decided by the Scientific Committee.

 Audiovisual aids for the presentations in rooms

Audiovisual aids required for presentations, should be requested in advance to the Scientific Committee. CDs, DVDs and also mass storage drives enclosing the papers will be delivered by the lecturers at the Audiovisual Aids Reception Office, 24 hours before the presentation in the room
