Dear colleagues and friends,
We invite all the professionals engaged in the field of cardiovascular diseases to gather in Havana, Cuba, from June 3rd to 6th 2014 during the VIII Cuban Congress of Cardiology.
Professionals from Latin America and world-wide will gather in Cuba with the goal to update on this specialty, to show the cardiologic research results in this area and to improve the global organization of patient care with different forms of heart and great vessels diseases.
Based in the lemma «Cardiovascular Diseases: Our challenge in the Century XXI», cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, internists, interventionists, epidemiologists, rehabilitation specialists, doctors of primary care attention, nurses and other professionals related with the field, we will session at the International Convention Center in Havana, the most traditional and efficient center of conferences in our country, for the successful development of this type of scientific event.
Themes like prevention, imagenologic diagnosis with techniques of last generation, medical, interventionist and surgical treatment, rehabilitation, among them, will be approached in the mentioned Congress, as well as in the frame of other parallel scientific activities. The diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias with modern techniques of cardiac stimulation will be also included.
Well-known specialists with great international prestige have confirmed their assistance, who next to the Cubans will guarantee the achievement of the proposed objectives.
You will be received cordially in Havana in such occasion, better epoch of the year because its climatic conditions, interchanging scientific activities with moments of happy recreation in a country which is characterized for its happy music, beautiful beaches and landscapes to enjoy the hospitable traditional character of the common Cuban citizen.
