Abstract submission deadline: August 8, 2025.
Abstracts for poster presentation should be sent to the e-mail coordinators: ariamys@ipk.sld.cu and marquetti@ipk.sld.cu , or to the Chair of the Scientific Committee: maureen@ipk.sld.cu . After the deadline for submission of abstracts, their presentation in the course is not guaranteed.
If you have any doubts, questions or difficulties in submitting the abstract, please contact the course coordinators.
The abstract should be structured in the following order
- Title of the paper: in capital letters and bold.
- Author(s): beginning with the first surname, followed by a comma and the first name. If there is more than one author, use a semicolon to separate the names. The author should be underlined in the presentation of the work.
- Affiliation: Indicate the authors’ place of work and country. If there is more than one author, use a superscript to indicate the number.
- Contact e-mail: Provide an e-mail address for correspondence with the author responsible for the paper.
- Text: It should be written in lower case, using Arial font, size 12, 1-line spacing. Length: No more than 250 words. The content of the abstract should be written without repeating the title of the paper and according to the following structured outline: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions. Tables or a figure cannot be included. Unexplained abbreviations should be avoided. Respect the nomenclature of scientific names. Numbers, abbreviations, and symbols in international use should be used for figures.

Important Aspects:
All papers submitted for consideration should be related to the topics of the course. After the submission deadline and in a timely manner, the author/presenter of the paper will be notified by email of its acceptance. This decision will be made by the Scientific Committee.
In order for the papers accepted by the Scientific Committee to be definitively included in the program, the registration of at least the responsible author or presenter must be included.
