Announcement
Orthopedics in the 500th Anniversary
The Cuban Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SCOT) is pleased to announce the 28th Cuban Congress on Orthopedics and Traumatology and Fourth Cuba-Mexico Binational Meeting, to be held on 1-5 October 2019 at the Historic Center of Havana.
The Congress is being organized by SCOT and is sponsored by the Mexican Federation of Orthopedics and Traumatology Colleges (FEMECOT). Its purpose is to offer specialists a framework and an opportunity to update criteria and concepts related to orthopedics, lay the foundations for future collaborations and joint development programs, and strengthen cooperation and exchange ties between professionals from the field.
On this occasion, the Congress will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the founding of the village of Saint Christopher of Havana, currently the capital of all Cubans.
Both events will serve as frameworks for inclusive and integrating scientific activities of high academic level aimed at professional development and the consequent improvement of medical care.
It will be a pleasure to have you among us.
Yours truly,
Horacio Tabares Neyra, PhD
President of the Cuban Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology
