Dear colleagues:

The XXVI Congress of the Latin American Federation of Parasitology (FLAP), XV Central American and Caribbean Congress of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine (ACACPMT), X Cuban Congress of Microbiology and Parasitology, VII National Congress of Tropical Medicine, VII International Seminar on HIV Infection and AIDS in Cuba, will be held in virtual modality from November 1st to 4th, 2022 with headquarters at the Pedro Kouri Institute of Tropical Medicine, IPK, Havana, Cuba. These events organized in salute to the 85th anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute of Tropical Medicine IPK, will provide a space for updating, discussing and exchanging on the role of Parasitology and Microbiology when treating infectious, emerging, re-emerging and neglected diseases.

Advances in diagnosis, epidemiology, clinical approach, pathology and control will be addressed through keynote lectures, symposia, round tables, oral presentations and posters.

The main topics of the congress will be: Malaria, intestinal parasitism, leishmaniasis, trypanosomiasis, toxoplasmosis, other parasitic zoonoses, COVID-19, dengue and other arboviruses, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, cholera, influenza, microbial resistance, zoonoses, mycoses, capacity building, globalization of infectious diseases among others.

Those interested must register for the congress and send abstracts to flaphabana2022@ipk.sld.cu. Registered users of the congress website have full access to all information published on the site. Registration does not guarantee participation in the event.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to select the papers to be presented at the event. Authors will be informed in a timely manner of the acceptance of their paper(s).
