Convocatory
The Cuban Society of Pharmacology is organizing the First International Congress on Pharmacology of Vaccines, VacciPharma 2009, scheduled for May 6th to 10th, 2009 at Varadero beach. This Congress will be conformed by three different Workshops: one focusing on 3Rs and particularly for Potency and Safety testing for vaccines, a second one addressed to clinical trials for preventive vaccines and the third one will be focused on the development of therapeutic vaccines.
The key objectives of the Congress are:
• To provide a progressive state-of-the-art report for scientists, manufacturers, governmental authorities and healthcare workers.
• To promote the experience exchange, the presentation of results and the discussion on the topics above mentioned.
• To accelerate progress in the development of vaccines and the acceptance of new methods and technologies.
• To encourage a prophylactic approach to healthcare.
