Dear colleagues and friends,

We invite all professionals engaged in the field of nuclear cardiology and cardiac imaging to gather in Havana, Cuba, from April 14-16 2016 during the VII Iberoamerican Congress of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging organized in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

With the goal to accomplish an update of the subspecialty, to show the research results in the area and contribute to the improvement ofmedical and interventional care of cardiac patients in Latin America and worldwide, nuclear medicine specialists, nuclear cardiologists and cardiologists interested in these topics  will gather in Cuba. The congress will be held at the Hotel National, one of our most known and historical venues.

Themes like multimodality in coronary artery disease, cost effectiveness of imaging techniques, nuclear cardiology and heart failure, SPECT & PET: new developments in hardware and software, strategies for doses reduction in nuclear cardiology, quality assurance in cardiovascular imaging, and prognostic value of functional parameters, will be approached in the mentioned Congress.

Well-known specialists with great international prestige have confirmed their assistance, who next to the Cubans will guarantee the achievement of the proposed objectives.
