The XXVI Congress of the Latin American Federation of Parasitology\u00a0(FLAP), XV Central American and Caribbean Congress of Parasitology and\u00a0Tropical Medicine (ACACPMT), X Cuban Congress of Microbiology and\u00a0Parasitology, VII National Congress of Tropical Medicine, VII International\u00a0Seminar on HIV Infection and AIDS in Cuba, will be held in virtual modality\u00a0from November 1st to 4th, 2022 with headquarters at the Pedro Kouri Institute
\nof Tropical Medicine, IPK, Havana, Cuba. These events organized in salute to\u00a0the 85th anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute of Tropical Medicine IPK,will provide a space for updating, discussing and exchanging on the role of\u00a0Parasitology and Microbiology when treating infectious, emerging, re-emerging\u00a0and neglected diseases.<\/p>\n
Advances in diagnosis, epidemiology, clinical approach, pathology and control\u00a0will be addressed through keynote lectures, symposia, round tables, oral\u00a0presentations and posters.<\/p>\n
The main topics of the congress will be: Malaria, intestinal parasitism,leishmaniasis, trypanosomiasis, toxoplasmosis, other parasitic zoonoses,\u00a0COVID-19, dengue and other arboviruses, HIV\/AIDS, tuberculosis, cholera,\u00a0influenza, microbial resistance, zoonoses, mycoses, capacity building, globalization of infectious diseases among others.<\/p>\n
Those interested must register for the congress and send abstracts to\u00a0flaphabana2022@ipk.sld.cu. Registered users of the congress website have full\u00a0access to all information published on the site. Registration does not guarantee\u00a0participation in the event.<\/p>\n
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to select the papers to be presented\u00a0at the event. Authors will be informed in a timely manner of the acceptance of\u00a0their paper(s).<\/p>\n
