procedures for donations

In case exhibitors decide to donate the products they imported (books), they can do it by one of the following ways:

1. At registration, exhibitors declare that their goods will be donated. Then, exhibitors will request Medicuba the form for the donation. Medicuba is the importer for the Ministry of Public Health and as so they will be responsible for all the management until the final destination, previously agreed between the parties.
2. If the provider does not declare a donation, Palco would take charge of the entire process with an additional cost. If during the event, the exhibitor decides to make a donation, they should contact MediCuba, which in turn has 45 days to carry out all the necessary procedures and take the donation to its final destination.
3. All the exhibitors must declare as «unaccompanied baggage» all the promotional material, including the flashes or pen drives, in such a way that they do not consider it as personal luggage, which would pass through the current customs regulations.
